Equipment
Items under this heading include all machinery and equipment, chemicals, signage, safety wear, cleaning components and materials to effectively complete the daily cleaning activity. A daily repair service is in place for cleaning equipment and backup supplies are available for emergency use. Programmed safety audits are conducted on all equipment.
Cleaning Chemicals
AECS use bio-degradable, non hazardous cleaning chemicals where possible on sites. Cleaning Chemicals stored on site are clearly labelled, bunded and provided with Material Safety Data Sheets. All cleaners are trained in the safe handling of chemicals. If a hazardous chemical is needed on site arrangements are made with clients for the necessary signage and storage.
